New Server Setup:How to Survive

[b]Well people, since we are now a pvp server, it is extremely dangerous to go out in the wilderness and do anything. This is why I, and my followers have decided to build some towns, or 'safe havens' where you can rest, relax, and recoop before heading on out for some more pvp action. The first town is more of a small village. Houses will cost you $500, which I think is a decent price. It has the Trivinian College, where (Once perms are fixed, and if you're allowed) you will be able to read books and (If we get a plugin) train skills and learn magic. I will put a list here if any new towns pop up. If you start a town (Must have walls at least 5 blocks high, made of some kind of stone, housing room for sale, and possibly a training area) then message me on here or contact me on the server.

Danlikesham greifed me, by placing lava in my and zachparsons1994's house in which I lost my diamond pick which I worked very hard to get. Then in retaliation me and zachparsons1994 took Danlikesham's stuff. It was in Wilderness, so greifing is allowed. Is it not? He didnt claim his properties so it was the wilderness.

The Maze l Christmas Contest!

Hello Fellow Minecraftians I'm here to announce another one of our Contests.

This Contest is Appropriately Named: The Maze.
It is as it's name states, a maze. A Very Difficult Maze. A very dark maze with monsters. However along with those monsters there is also treasure. The Treasure in this case being Wool. Wool takes off 10 seconds from your final time meaning you get a faster time.

Time is of the essence in this Contest as the fastest time wins. Don't try and go looking for Wool as you might end up wasting more time! Simply look for the exit and collect the wool you find on the way.

Now remember how I said it is also very dark and filled with monsters?
Well I wasn't lying. You will be equipped with one iron sword to defend yourself with. Death, is an instant disqualification.

Good Luck My Friends, Remember to Read the Rules. This contest will start when we have enough players online.

It's Horribly Annoying and Spams the Chat.

A Guide to Potion Brewing In progress

H3y guys, I was just playing on the server the other day and I noticed something odd. I'd never made a potion before! Well, I decided I'd make a potion guide for you guys now that I understand it somewhat better. I really hope you guys find it useful, and if you still have trouble, that you come see me in-game or on the forums and ask for my help. Without further ado, here is my potion guide!
Step 1:Brewing stand and bottles- Stand:1 blaze rod, 3 cobblestone. Bottles

Step 2:Ingredients- To brew a potion, you will need to obtain several odd and hard to get ingredients. I would advise having some food, at least iron armor and tools, and a nether portal.
Nether Wart: Found in the evil-looking nether dungeons or 'dark strongholds,' these little plants grow on soul sand, and are the base for an Akward Potion, which is one of the tow base potions we will cover.
Glistering Melon: Made with a watermelon slice and a gold nugget, it is used in health potions.
Spider Eye: Just by killing a spider you too can own one of these odd (and edible >.<) eyeballs of a spider. You can make poison with it.
Fermented Spider Eye: At this point, I know it makes a weakness potion when added to an akward potion.
Ghast Tear: Instead of gunpowder, ghasts now drop 'Ghast Tears,' which oddly enough create regeneration potions.
Magma Cream: This allows you to get a fire resistence effect (includes swimming in lava.)
Blaze Powder: This substance creates a strength potion.
Sugar: Used to make swiftness (speed) potions.
Redstone Dust: Makes a potion last longer, but have less effect.
Glowstone Dust: Makes a potion stronger, but not last as long.
Gunpowder: Add to a finished potion to make a splash potion.

Step 3: Evil is Brewing (AKA Matt)...
Now, young warlock, you are ready to create potions. You've got a brewing stand, and your ingredients. Go fill your bottles with water and toss them into the brewing stand. They hold bottles at a time. Now I shall list what to add to the water to make your potions of death and healing. Note:Redstone and Glowstone buffed potions will be listed,but not be told how to be made.

Just got back from my holidays sunday morning and my mine craft now says 1.0.0 and it will not let me log in to the server WTF I am thinking my brother updated or backdated my mine craft and the server is not compatible with the current version can anyone help

Steps to make make money in MineCraft there are different ways

Way 1)
1) Donate money and unlock abilities and money.

Way 2)
1) Farm resources
2) sell them for money on the server (Hint the Diamond sell for the most)
3) Take all the money from the people that pay

Way 3)
1) Make Houses and other things
2) sell the houses to people who are new and don't know that they are doing, don't worry an admin will help them out.(HAHAHAHA)

Seeing as the server has made a lot of money so far I think we should work together to build a few more attractions and some traps. Maybe make a world wide adventure with NPCs giving you hints and at the end there's a chest full of gold and diamond? Just an idea.

Swordfighting Tutorial

Hey there wannabe soldiers, knights, guards and adventurers. Are you tired of being 'pwnz0r'd' by noobs on your travels? Well I have a solution! What you need is to learn to wield a sword. Axes are also decent weapons, but swords deal the most damage. Here are some basic attacks and how to use them to the fullest effect.
1) Basic Cut: You just left click, but to make it better, try staying zoomed in all the way and strafing (moving,dodging) from left to right.
2) Combat Strafe: You zoom in and move left to right, which can sometimes confuse your enemy long enough to get in a strike!
3) Critical: We all know this, you jump and hit. Keep the eyes on the prize and strike a good hit!
4) Knock-Back: Another obvious one. Begin sprinting with a double tap of your foreward key (default W) and strike while running.
5) Play Dirty: My personal favorite includes fire and lava, sand or gravel.
6) Trickery: Tell an enemy faction you left yours because they were jerks, lie a bit.
7) Carry an extra sword: If forced to surrender, make sure you have an extra sword! They'll want your weapon, so if you have 2, you can escape.
8) Suicide: If all else fails, carry a block of tnt with a redstone torch, button, lever, or pressure plate.
